The Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments of the United States. The first 10 amendments are kinda like rules that shouldnt be broken. The First Amendment states that Congress cannot make any law. Favors one religion over any other religion, or no religion at all or opposes any religion. Stops you from practicing your religion. Keeps you from saying what you want (including talking bad about the president). Prevents any type of resources from presenting any news, ideas, and opinions that they choose. Stops you from meeting peacefully for a demonstration or protest to ask the government to change something.Second Amendment, Congress cannot stop people from having/carrying weapons. Third Amendment, You dont have to let soldiers live in your house unless theres a war going on. Congress would still have to pass a law and set rules. Fourth Amendment, nobody can search your body, house or your belongings unless they have a warrant approved by the judge. Fifth Amendment except during times of war or if you are in the military. You cant be tried for any type of serious crime without the Grand Jury meeting first to decide if theres enough evidence that proves you committed that crime. If the jury decides you’re innocent the government cant try you again for the same crime with a different jury. You cant be forced to admit you are guilty of a crime. You can’t be killed, or put in jail, or fined, unless you were convicted of a crime by a jury and all of the proper legal steps during your arrest and trial. The government can’t take your house or your farm or anything that is yours, unless the government pays for it at a fair priceI really only covered the first 5. In the Fourth amendment, it just grants you the right to your privacy. Really, truly nobody has privacy, people rarely read terms and regulations. One person read the terms and agreements for an update on their ones. That company has the right to go through your phone no matter what. The truth is nobody really does follow the bill of rights, of course you can enforce it but to some people that wouldn’t really matter. Privacy is one of the most important things to me. I wouldnt want anyone to know my business or what I have going on. Knowing that my information is out there being used without my knowledge is kinda frightening.Simply press the button, and we’ll handle the rest!
